It was a beautiful day yesterday, and the temperature made it to the 70's! Since the backyard is finally drying out, I took a peek to see what needs to be done. I came across a little cluster of Crocuses. I just love the colors! 
Here is the same shot in Black and White. I think I may like it more because it looks abstract and shows off the texture of the old leaves (which I need to get on the ball and rake).

Wow, your pics are awesome...of course the fact that you had some of the most adorable kids in them helps!
And you actually made me realize what a great photographer you are. I looked at the pic you had of the flower in your backyard and thought how beautiful...but when you pointed out the texture in the b/w pic of the leaves...I was like, damn - your good.
